Therapists use the water and specifically designed activities to enhance, restore, and maintain a person’s functional abilities. Aquatic therapy is being practiced worldwide as an advance therapy to heal patients earlier. There are various approaches like Burdenko method, Halliwick therapy, Bad Ragaz Ring method, Oceanic bodywork aqua, Water Shiatsu, Ai Chi, Aqua cupping.

Dr. Prachi Shah Arora’s Physiotherapy clinic and Aquatic centre has an indoor temperature controlled hydrotherapy tank with customized underwater four directional treadmill with speed of 1.5km/hr to 21km/hr. This underwater treadmill also calculates total calories burnt during walking or running. Jets and jacuzzi are also present in our hydrotherapy centre for water massages and draining swelling, especially in cases of cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis rehabilitation. Ventilation, hygiene and confidentiality is well maintained in here.

In our hydrotherapy/aquatic centre we practice: –

  • Aqua aerobics and aqua fitness.
  • Aquatic therapy for physiotherapy rehabilitation for sports and ortho cases.
  • Ai Chi for balance and proprioception.
  • Aqua cupping and water massages for lymphadenopathies.

AQUATIC ASSESSMENT is taken separately depending on the type of case, goals and technique to be done.
