SI Joint Dysfunctions
The Sacro-iliac Joint is often overlooked in routine assessments. It is the point of connection between the upper and lower halves of our bodies, and a shift in the SI Joint may reflect in shoulder and ankle injuries as well leading to a higher chance of recurrence. We understand the role of the SI Joint in the body’s biomechanics and pay attention to the correction of its alignment.
Spine Pain
Back pain can often present in a variety of ways and prove difficult to diagnose. We carry out an in-depth assessment, including measurements of limb girth and various special tests, in order to provide our patients with the correct differential diagnoses – be it Scoliosis, Listhesis, Spondylitis, Spondylosis, Spondylysis, Herniated discs, Sclerosis, Stenosis, and Genetic Disorders.
Knee Surgery Rehabilitation
We pay detailed attention to Pre-operative Rehabilitation and accordingly communicate with the surgeon, in order to ensure the best results Post-operatively. Care is taken to treat the knee as a part of the entire body, so that spinal, pelvic, hip and ankle issues are addressed as well and the correct gait pattern is attained. Additionally, Aquatic Therapy is included in the Rehabilitation as it has been proven to significantly improve patient outcomes.
Arthritic Issues
A holistic approach is most effective in patients with arthritic conditions. Therefore, we address the nutritional needs by providing appropriate blood group diets in addition to therapeutic interventions and exercises. This enables the patient to prevent further degenerative changes, avoid surgeries and maintain independence leading to a better quality of life.
GBS, Hemiplegia and Parkinson’s Syndrome
Routine evaluation and re-evaluation using various scales form an important part of rehabilitation so that patient progress is accurately documented and their goals are achieved with ease. We understand the importance of choosing the right combination of treatment techniques such as Bobath Approach, Roods Approach, Aquatic Therapy, so that patients may appreciate their progress faster. In patients with mobility issues, we also provide home visits to avoid delays in their rehabilitation.
Women’s Fitness
Hormonal changes have a huge impact on the female body’s metabolism during various stages of life – menarche, pregnancy, post- partum and during menopause. Keeping this in mind, we specifically create rehabilitation plans that include HIIT workouts, exercises for Osteoporosis, Obesity, Pre- and Post-natal women, Blood group diets, Power Yoga, Strength Training and Aquatic Fitness.
Ankle and Foot Injuries
Joint receptor training, Sensory Integration and, Balance and Proprioception Training form an important part of our rehabilitation of patients with ankle and foot injuries, in order to avoid recurrent sprains. At our centre, Pedobarography is also used to carry out foot mapping using various parameters to accurately understand the pressure distribution of the entire body over the feet, which form the base of our body. Recommendations for appropriate footwear are also made based on the patients biomechanical needs and daily activities in order to prevent further damage and avoid injuries.
