Post- Competitive Phase
Attention is paid to the recovery of the athlete. Aquatic Therapy, Hydrotherapy are used as a part of Comprehensive Rehabilitation. Detailed video analysis of the Athlete’s Performance and posture is done.
Sports Massages
Given to athletes beginning at the age of ten. In these massages Flushing, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports Specific Positional Release Techniques, Cupping Therapy and Stretches may be performed. A combination of these techniques helps the athlete to have a good range of motion, avoid injuries due to strains, reduces soreness and leaves them feeling lighter enabling better performance. It also helps reduce lactic acid accumulation, thereby avoiding cramps.
Sports Performance Enhancement
Working in all the phases, together as a team, benefits the Coach, Trainer, Physiotherapist and the Athlete to perform better – stress-free and injury-free, as detailed evaluation and programming is done together.
Kinanthropometry
In Sport Specific Physiotherapy Assessment, a structural evaluation is done of joints, limbs, muscles and fat for a better understanding of the Athlete within their Sport. Kinathropometric evaluation enables us to maximise the benefit of the Athlete’s natural ability towards their Sport. In younger, undecided athletes Kinathropometric Measurements also allow us to match them to their Ideal Sport.
Sports Nutrition
We understand the various training and competition phases, as well as limitations before a diet is planned. The diet is Blood Group Specific and created based on a thorough assessment of their visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, body composition, lean body mass, bone density, skeletal muscle mass, body water, proteins, and overall Health Score. Blood tests to better understand vitamins and minerals are also advised.
Sports Psychology
We understand the pressures and anxieties faced by an athlete in the competition phase. It is also very important to tackle the fear of injury, and return to sport after injuries. Positivity, reassurance and confidence are provided by our physiotherapists to help the athlete overcome their challenges.
